Sales of Craft Beer
- In 2013, the craft beer market had 14.3 Billion in sales, a 20% sales growth from 2012. The overall beer market had $100 Billion in sales in 2013.
- 17.2% of all beer sales in 2013 were from craft beer.
- Craft beer sales historically spike in the second half of the year, due to fall/winter seasonality.
Production of Craft Beer
- American craft beer production increased 18% in the first half of 2014. Craft brewers sold 10.6 million barrels, which is up from about 9 million from the first half of 2013.

Popularity Overseas
- U.S. craft beer exports grew six-fold during the past five years, jumping from about 46,000 barrels in 2009 to more than 282,500 barrels in 2013, worth an estimated $73 million.
