Advanced Solutions, an Autodesk Platinum Partner and Authorized Training Center (ATC), will host an innovative technology summit for the Manufacturing industry in Michigan. Working in conjunction with Autodesk to create a new educational opportunity, Advanced Solutions has combined manufacturing industry talent and revolutionary design technology to produce the Design Better Products Workshop. The workshop will explore how to streamline the entire product development process with the Autodesk solution for Digital Prototyping, which lets designers explore ideas before they are built. Attendees will learn how to gather design data from all phases of the process and transform the data into a single digital model. This innovative process allows data to remain associative to any CAD system, no matter where it comes from, with no translation, no geometry repair, and no relinking files. The workshop will also showcase how to validate designs against product requirements with CAD-embedded finite element design software, before deliverables are built for release. Technology experts from Advanced Solutions will showcase how leading manufacturers are using computer technology to: Create more innovative concepts and engineer more accurate digital prototypes Perform simulations on digital prototypes to optimize designs Streamline documentation, data management, and collaboration Drastically reduce the product design and development lifecycle The Design Better Products Workshop will begin in Detroit, Michigan on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, with a second event on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Each day will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a “power” breakfast buffet to get the workshop underway and conclude with a networking lunch ending at 12:30 p.m. During the workshop, technology experts will highlight four essential innovations changing the manufacturing industry as we know it. The following sessions will be offered at each workshop: Design, Manufacture & Market Better Products with Digital Prototyping What’s New in Autodesk Inventor 2016 […]
